It was – and is – an honor to join with women united in solidarity for moving forward instead of backward. Thanks to all those around the world who marched. That includes our hometown, where 3000 actually showed up. Can you believe it? Change happens!
Now comes the harder part – keeping it going. Complacency needs to replaced by continued action. To quote my favorite chant yesterday, “This is what democracy looks like!” We need to keep that vision in front of everyone!
I think so too. Push push push.
I hope that we can keep up the momentum and not loose our freedom to choose .
I hope none of our freedoms (or opportunities) are lost. Yes, we’re gonna have to keep on applying pressure.
I totally agree.
It was am amazing experience to march in DC. The photos from around the US and around the world mean so much. Seeing the pussy hats and all the pink on women and men gave me goosebumps. The fight is on.
How amazing that you were there! A moment in history. Yes, the fight is on.
